WHERE TO VISIT

THE BEST MARIJUANA AREAS OF COLORADO

Immediately you’re asking “Wait..what? I thought it was legal in the whole state! Why would there be places to avoid?”

WHERE TO AVOID

The fact is, not every township in Colorado is feeling the movement to decriminalize marijuana. Many towns have voted for permanent bans on recreational pot shops. Four of the ten largest cities in Colorado (Thornton, Colorado Springs, Centennial and Westminster ) have placed outright bans on cannabis sales and five others have placed moratoriums on shops until next year (Lakewood, Pueblo, Arvada, Aurora, and Fort Collins). That leaves Denver and Boulder as the only big cities in the whole state moving forward with actually providing the fruit of our liberties granted us under Amendment 64.

DENVER, CO

Thankfully, Denver is doing it in a big way and will likely become the recreational pot mecca of Colorado as far as availability goes. Look to MJ Traveler to be spending plenty of time this year combing the Mile High City in order to deliver all the information you need to get the most out of your visit there.

BOULDER, CO

Not as populated but just as popular as Denver is the fine town of Boulder, where recreational cannabis sales will thrive. Long known as a progressive yet “hippie” town, Boulder is set to be one of the sweetest and most welcoming backdrops for any Marijuana Traveler’s good time. MJ traveler will be on the scene, giving you the inside line on how to do Boulder proper.
